After 2.5 years, after being backer #0006, after all the hastles of shipping... The eagle has finally landed. Oh boy, was it worth the wait. It is far more polished and better built than I hoped for. I quickly made some fresh (coffee) with it and the workflow is great, the UI is to die for, athe puck comes out clean and dry, and the coffee is 🤌🤌🤌

Perfect micro ristretto this morning. 7g in 8.5g out. Updates to the profiles are super responsive and stop at target weight working great.

I was VIP #50 Baker from Germany. For me personally, it was a difficult and frustrating long wait, but now it’s here and I can’t be happier! The wait was hard, but it’s worth every day in the end. My very first shot pulled on the Meticulous was the tastiest Espresso I had in my life! The build quality is amazing, the brew by weight is impressively precise, and overall, it’s a pleasure to use every single day! I can’t take my eyes off how beautiful it looks. I have both the Meticulous and Decent in my lab. For me, the Meticulous is now my daily machine, it's just a joy to use. The fact that I can isolate variables and play with different waters for each extraction, and not have a tank with stagnant water is a huge plus. And it’s easy to share profiles with friends and customers.

We were one of the first backers of Meticulous and we use it at home whenever I am not working in my cafe. It is currently the closest machine to reproduce the Substance shots I pull at the cafe with my roast and my Slayer. It is consistent, no loud pump noise and so easy to clean. The software is intuitive and I can easily share my profile with the community. Worth the wait and the hype!

The machine has been flawless so far. Every type of shot is easy, from 90s era 1:1 texture bombs to soups that have me cleaning my backsplash daily. It’s improved my shots quite a bit, and it’s allowed me to experiment with different styles much more than before. I’m enjoying it!

I’ve had a Decent for several years and wanted a second machine that was at a lower price than the Decent, but with minimal compromises. I admit I didn’t expect such a solid, well-built machine so congratulations to the team! I started with a turbo shot, and it was a perfect shot the first time. I think we’ll be good friends.

Finally unboxed the Meticulous! I’ve been obsessed with this concept since the beginning: a boiler-less, software-driven lever machine. It’s been a long 3-year journey from backing to brewing, and it was absolutely worth the wait.

I've had my machine for a few weeks now and have to say that compared to others I've had, including other manual piston machines, this one is top tier. Perhaps more importantly than that, as a 72 year old that has owned his share of high end devices (cameras, telescopes, shop equipment, computing hardware) the Customer Support provided by Meticulous has been far better that anything I've experienced before. I haven't had to ask for a ton of support but when I have contacted them I usually get a reply well within an hour and often within less than 30 minutes. Amazing!

The Meticulous is my all-time favorite kickstarter campaign (#811 backer) and makes espresso refined and truly enjoyable!

So worth the wait. Great fun dialing in new beans!
