New Beta Software Release (Beta 2026M1446)

Hi Everyone,

Beta 2026M1446 is rolling out now. You can opt-in to receive it by changing the update channel on your Meticulous. Once fully tested, Beta updates will make their way to the Stable channel.

This update focuses on improved issue reporting and data sharing so that you can easily share the relevant information to help us find and fix issues related to brewing or software on the machine or Companion app.

01 · Issue reporting

More reliable Issue Reporting

Issue reporting is now more reliable, whether you report from the machine itself or from the Companion App.

  • Reports are more robust, so they reach us even on a slow connection.
  • Add your email address to a report, so we can reply without you emailing Support separately.
  • If the machine can't send a report, it tells you why and what to do next.

02 · Companion App

Report an Issue from the Companion App

You can now report issues directly from the Companion App, making it easier to share information about the issue you experienced.

  • Your contact email fills in for you.
  • Your Meticulous attaches its own diagnostics, so you don't have to wait for them.
  • Every report and its ticket number stays in one list in the app.

03 · Data sharing

Help us improve Meticulous

You can now choose to share anonymous brew data with us. It helps us find and fix brewing issues sooner, including ones nobody has reported yet. You can stop sharing at any time.

04 · New profiles

Start new profiles from Simple

New profiles now start from Simple, Lance Hedrick's recipe, which you can then adjust to your coffee.

A fast filling profile that builds pressure and transitions to a constant flow until the target weight is reached. The benefit is that it retains puck resistance and once dialed in by grind to a peak pressure of 6-9 bar, will maintain the shot time even as the bean ages without adjusting grind size. Adjust the End Flow rate via the Dial to shorten or lengthen the shot time.
